About Us

Silverleaf Primary School is a no fee-paying co-educational and English medium school that caters to learners from Grade R to 7 in the poor, disadvantaged and overpopulated community of Du Noon, Western Cape.

The school was established in September 2015 to meet the needs of many children of Du Noon, most of whom were out of school because the two primary schools in the area were full. The school first opened its doors in 2016 for 815 learners and 17 teachers. The school has grown significantly in quantity and quality, offering a holistic educational approach through academics, sports, service and cultural activities.
